my hammer doesn't show the textures and people etc in the 3D view. i had 3.4 and i tried 3.5. doesn't work in either. can someone help?

What do you see?
Try right clicking the 'camera' text, there you can choose the display modes (wireframe, flat or textured).

OH MY GOD THANK YOU!!!!! i guess it was that easy. i always saw in screenshots of the program seeing the textures there but i had no idea it was that easy. thanks a lot man i REALLY appreciate it.

You just have to learn to search around the program a bit
