I would like to know how i can make a light turn on or off, or just change colers (like in Crossfire) is this possible? maybe using env_render? i tried but you can change brightness can you? please help anyone.

name the light then target it with any type of button to change on/off, dunno changing questions

A light entity can have several properties, one of this is it's name. Give it a name, only then can you trigger it with another entity. Each time you trigger a light, you toggle it between it's on and off state.

As for color changing, you'll need two lights for that, and make sure only one of them is on at a time. The 'Start Off' flag comes in handy here...

lol, I was writing a tutorial about this, and then had to stop.

You can not do this with texture lighting, which is why I don't use it.

You should use it BL. Only use point lighting when you need to do these kind of things... :

You can do this with texture lighting. Look at the VERC for the Zoner's custom build readme.
