Last night was making a couple cs test maps... Everything fired up and launched game. Today creating a new one I get an error when the game fires up saying could not read overview.txt file and xp error report comes up and shuts down game. I read thru the ov tut on this site but I can't get into game with the map to create one..
any ideas?

This isn't a problem with the overview. That's just a message you get when you don't have one provided; it won't crash HL.

You've made something odd that makes HL crash in your map. Check for entities targetting themselves, compile errors, crazy huge things, etc.

I'm thinking it has to do with having HL/CS 1.5 and then installing steam. Maybe it has taken over some .dll's. Maybe it's a XP issue.
I followed the beginners tut here. I'm just making some cubes with a player start and a light. Getting a feel for heights and such. Made one, worked, made another, overview problem. I found an old map I made and it won't load either, a different problem. CS works and I know my old map had worked at one time. Heck I just installed Kingpin after 5 years and the map I made for that works.... Dunno... Maybe I should go back with radiant..
