heh, i got my finger trapped in a door when i was 6, and it took my fingernail right off. looked wierd. life egg white with little black bits in it. it healed tho, and now i have my very own, resurrected fingernail. i also ran into a table and knocked out my front teeth. they grew back too! well, teeth do grow back, but it was still fun being able to clench my teeth and stick my toungue out at people at the same time :P

there was also this one time i slid downstairs and had a HUGE carpet burn on my back. about the size of an xbox/ps2 game case (top to bottom). my brother also managed to get himself electrocuted, and my friend put a condom over his head (for our unfortunately unfinished moive, appropriately titled, "condom head.")

I electrocuted myself once. Unintentionally, of course.

But they grew back.

My friend has dislexia (or whatever it is when you read sentences backwards.)
i think that's the worst thing that happened to him
oh, and my other friend has this weird thing, where
he cant write!. he has to use some sort of laptop, which he takes too school. One day, my buddy went to touch it, he dropped it on the floor!

Yeah, that's what I thought he was referring to, but how can a dog die from getting it's head stuck in one!!? I think he means the chip got stuck in the dog's throat.

Ooh, just remembered one.

I was trying to play Football with a few buddies one day, and we ended up on the ice in the alley as it was the only place that was clear. Now, this was a stupid idea then, but I had on some shoes which I figured would keep traction. They didn't.

I woke up in some bed somewhere with teh paramedics standing over me.

Never run backwards on ice.

Everytime I hear about bones breaking it sends shivers down my spine --can't stand it. I think it is the worst possible senario a human being could face.

P.s. Shivers down my spine -- I also get that when touching velvet material, suede material, or peaches (or nectarines - I think it's them) But anyway, it drives me mad! :zonked:

i don't have any problems, you are the one who has problems.

My friends are cool outside of school. but they may be slightly different from other people inside school. so don't make fun of em'.

I got a worse thing comment to make. Ages ago I tripped over my brother's shoe when I was running & the toe on the very outside edge of my right foot was bent 90 degrees to the right. A bone was broken in the process.

turrets syndrome? tourettes? Or is it the rare, condition where you have machine guns grafted onto you? If so, dont mess with ppl suffering from turrets!
Posted 20 years ago2004-08-12 07:11:21 UTC Post #50356
I saw this amaizing program on telly about Tourettes syndrome. There was this bloke who just couldn't stop himself using offensive language and gestures at passers by.

He'd like go up to random people and tell them to f**k off! or bark at them. It was weird because he wasn't doing it out of malice, he just simply couldn't stop doing these things. It's like the brain area that prevents you from doing or saying things you shouldn't or wouldn't normally do was affected by the syndrome.

I saw a BETTER documentry on turrets...no wait, im thinking of Robocop or something :P :P
Posted 20 years ago2004-08-12 07:18:10 UTC Post #50359
Hey, don't knock ED-209, he was far better than Robocop -- He even looked a lot better!
Posted 20 years ago2004-08-12 07:21:13 UTC Post #50360
ROBOCOP could do stairs though! Thats a problem ED-209 and the daleks share...and stephen hawking
Posted 20 years ago2004-08-12 07:35:50 UTC Post #50363
Yeah - but, ED-209 could blow up all the stairs and make it a stairless world and kick Robocop's cyborg ass! (And then Stephen Hawking would be helped by ED-209 - now wouldn't that be great?)

lol
ED-209 was indeed cool looking. Can't say the same for Stephen Hawking.
Also ED-209 has never published a book only to backtrack on his stance about black holes never realising matter back into the universe after I bought it. The git.
Posted 20 years ago2004-08-12 08:34:51 UTC Post #50372
Robocop just looks like a nerd made up of blue metal. I mean all bad guys have to do to kill him is shoot him in the chin using a sniper rifle. Can't be that hard.

dyslexia isnt a big problem floater, nor does it make you read sentences backwards! it can effect either reading, writing, typing, spelling or balance, usually a combination. i dont think having dyslexia can be considered "the worst thing to happen in your life".
Posted 20 years ago2004-08-12 09:42:29 UTC Post #50394
I used to do a lot of word processing for a local community group (nice of me, eh?). One of the guys was dyslexic and used to give me hand written letters he wanted typed up. I noticed it was mostly words that don't look like they sound, like "though". It wasn't incomprehensible, so I wouldnt say dyslexias that bad (look at einstein!). I blame the stupidity of the english mixing all the old dialects into one common language. and Steam. I blame steam very much. :P
Posted 20 years ago2004-08-12 09:49:35 UTC Post #50396
yup, its always steams fault.
Posted 20 years ago2004-08-12 10:50:47 UTC Post #50413
Steam's ruined Half-Life for me. I liked it better the way it was. Notice how we the people were not even asked? They just decided to erradicate WON and ruin the way we play HL.

To think that we have to go through all the hassle to install new mods. Setting up hammer aswell, it used to be a fairly quick task, now the directory is a lot longer and it takes longer.

Whoever invented the idea must be shot dead.
Posted 20 years ago2004-08-12 11:31:12 UTC Post #50417
Screw Steam. I will make SP mods and maps from now on. By erasing WON, Valve just got rid of at least 300+ foreign players. Not to mention all the mappers who used WON.
Posted 20 years ago2004-08-12 14:21:14 UTC Post #50443
I even tried emailing the idiots, just no reply - what you would expect.
Posted 20 years ago2004-08-12 17:12:37 UTC Post #50475
i still map in won, but i was thinkig of map[ping for the ship, but that requires.. steam.
