Can anyone recommend a good H-L map:

Preferably a single-player map, or a small MP map which will be worth downloading ?

Any suggestions are welcome, but preferably a small mp or an sp.

Thnx

Search the Snarkpit. It features a large deal of maps, including a bunch of single-player ones. Ten Four could also be interesting, it previews Half-Life mods. And has quite an extensive database... it also recommends certain mods over others so it's easier to choose.

Good luck and have fun!

Poke646.
If you didn't play that, you're not a mapper.

Ominous activities.
It's in the map vault a while back.
To me, what a single player map should be like.

Some DM maps I really liked:

Parralaxion by Agent Smith

Half-Life: Invasion. It's a very good single player game...

I don't play multiplayer myself so I can't really recommend any levels

Multiplayer gamers require Natural-Selection. It's standard protocol, Marine.

Bootleg Squadrog for Opfor. Azure Sheep, although frustrating, is good in parts (HL mod). Sweet HL is very popular, but I never got far on it. And Poke646 rules.

OpFor is downloadable if you have a valid CDKey for HL or CS.

When I said small maps, I meant like for 2 - 5 players.

Persian Pillars looks like one of the best maps
I've ever seen, CP...... but it looks a bit to big

The ideal map would be a 3 player map, cos I just got a second computer, and I play alot of LAN.

(Not both computers are mine, btw ;) )

Persian Letters definitely looks awesome but indeed it's a 'bit' big... I just thought you would like to see that.

Small map? Mhh... Alpha by SEThorian, simple layout but oh so fun... a real fragfest...
