Hi i was jst wondering how to make a wall go at an angle??? Like stairs but smooth.

click the brush your working on twice. you will see square boxes appear at the side middle bit of each face. this is called the shear tool and is very useful for making slopes and stairs. but be warned, it wont move the textures into line with the brush.

Alternatively, you could use Vertex Manipulation and manually place the corners where you want them.

or you could click the brush your working on and press Ctrl + M and type in what angle

remember to click the carve tool multiple times, it cycles through three modes, one for either side of the brush, and one that allows you too keep both sides of the brush while cutting down the middle, or wherever.

vertex manip takes a little more time but can be invaluable when it comes to angled walls.

correction it is not the carve tool (carving is a big no no) thats the clipping tool
