Take a look at your compile logs and see if there are any errors during the compile process.
Posted 20 years ago2004-10-29 10:05:14 UTC Post #70380

First,where is RMF and Second,what is RMF?Im Turkish.So I could understand your totorials(whatever) a little.ANd seventh-monkey dont talk so compilicated.Like im saying where is the compile logs and you are saying 'IN THE same directory as your RMF'..!
Posted 20 years ago2004-10-29 11:55:13 UTC Post #70433
your RMF (rich map file) is in wherever you set it to be in the options menu. alternatively, you could look at the box that appears showing the compile process in hammer when you are compiling. it should tell you if there were any problems.

btw, dont worry about the language problems, we've seen worse (from people whom english is their first language).

Do you mean the compile process window.?t says;
--- BEGIN hlvis ---
Command line: C:PROGRA~1VALVEH~1ZHLThlvis.exe C:SIERRAHalf-Lifevalvemapsunite
>> There was a problem compiling the map.
>> Check the file C:SIERRAHalf-Lifevalvemapsunite.log for the cause.

--- END hlvis ---

Unite is my map name.
But there is no such thing called unite.log

Note that errors like this are not always visible in Hammer's Check for Problems function, Hammer might even report there are no errors at all.

Anyway, you got a couple of brushes in your map with invalid shapes or, theey are to close to the map grid border, or even completely outside. Delete this brushes, recreate them, or jsut move your whole map a bit away from the border.
