Don't you think television is designed with the mindless idiot in mind? They try to make you engulfed in their pointless and simple programs with adverts. Take for example the Sky Digital advert. It says stuff like "Keep the whole family entertained in front of the TV for christmas! There is plenty to watch!". Also, another example, fast food. It is usually of shitty quality and is designed so people don't have to do anything. Pretty stupid. Thanks to simplicity, people are turning into lazy, fat, and boring people. My next example, public transport. More and more people are not learning to drive. I mean, driving is lazy. But public transport is just simply, lazy. They try to make everything so simple that everyone has turned into TV obsessed, fat, lazy, boring, dumb and controlled puppets. Manipulated by the media and simpleness.

PS. And no, I'm not Jahzel in disguise. I feel like posting a conspiracy for once

As for the media thing - you've got a point, but people still have a choice not to watch tv and eat junk food.

As for public transportation - it's better for the enviroment, city streets get less crowded and you hardly move less than if you're driving. Can't really see your point there.

But they subconciously force eating shit and watching crappovision if idiots watch those adverts. But with the public transport thing, I suppose your right.

I think people who watch alot of tv could have a warped perception of reality when it comes to social interaction. Think about it. When people are talking to each other in movies the are reading off a script and being told what to say. People who watch alot of this may start trying to a interact with people the way its done on tv, but that is not how things work in real life.

Who says that TV zombies even socialise?

They don't socialize because they can't. They can't fit in with normal people. I'm sure this doesn't happen to everyone, but there are people out there like that.

I love the T.V but what draws me in is the computer as usually i spend about 7 hours a day and 8 on weekends!

I agree that people are lazy today but in the UK i think it is fine but in America i noticed the term 'fat american on couch' and i see stuff like that all the time!

I suppose it is true... but not all ppl who watch any tv are retards... And I don't personally know someone that watches tv ALL DAY, and buys something because of it's commercial... I suppose there are such ppl, I just don't know them I doubt those kind of ppl are the MAJORITY, I really doubt it...
