i resently got my self a copy of hl2 and and registered an instaled it. been playin mostly cs:s,
but after a wile i was feelin to play some hl2 but to my horror it was missing a number of textures for some of the prefabs/modles/props
ect.......
this really kills the atmosphere, does any one know wat to do?

Are you sure they're missing and you don't just have too poor a graphics card/old drivers?

no it s only on the modles.
my card is a FX5600 , latest drivers
its kinda like wen u make a map wiv custom textures but forget to put them in the right folder and u get a plain white/ or pink black checkered
texture replace them.

Very odd. Reinstall, I'd guess the GCF is corrupted.
