First I tried compiling maps and it was saying token error on line 6. I read another forum discussion and it said download hlcsg hlbsb etc have done this and it still isn't working any ideas this is the log

Get rid of the capital letter in the name. Secondly, this isn't the full compile log. No errors are present in this one. Check out this site for a comprehensive explanation of most possible errors in HL and Hammer.

I suspect you haven't set Hammer up properly. Read our tutorial on it.
