I am complelty new to mapping, but im catching on fast. I have been using the "In the begging" guide. On part five he talks about adding furniture. At the very begging he says to use your usable objects located in the object bar. The problem is, in my object br I only have entitys,prefabs, and HL2 prefabs. Am I looking in the wrong place, or am I missing a file, or what.

That tutorial is written for Half-Life 1 and is thus outdated.

Use the entity tool, place a prop_physics, then use the browse button in it's properties to find a suitable model for your purposes.

Wait before you do this search the forums for people like yourself asking this question you'l find that not all models are _physics some you might need to use an _overide and if you dont want them to move use a _static the more you exspierement youl find out what to use for each model.
Good Luck youl find mapping is easy after a while.
