I don't know why but does the map used for stress testing look so much better than any other map?
The graphics look almost superb...

Because they're designed to stress your hardware as much as possible. I doubt it'd run at a playable framerate in-game where it ran there (sound, A.I., etc. is pretty straining).

Still, there must be an entity that makes the walls look so good :S
I mean I used the same texture, placed env_cubemap and it looks well not so good I guess :S
I might have to check the vmf of the stress test to see if it has stuff I don't know :S

Ever heard of bumpmapping? It's probably the _a texture, and you're using the _b one. I've had it happen before.
