An example of the gravity lift concept I was searching for in this journal, with due credit to Windawz who gave me the information I needed to actually achieve this. The map it was going to be used in will probably never be finished, so I thought I should at least share this idea.

The gravity within the lift is simply changed via trigger_gravitys, placed around the lift such that the gravity is only lowered while inside. The only other element to this is the platform itself. Visually, it is simply a func_illusionary. In the same place is a brush covered in the cliphull1 texture. This tool texture acts as a clip brush, but can be passed through while crouching. By using this, the result is a platform that can be stood on and run across, but also passed through (upwards and downwards) at will!

Hope someone can do something interesting with this! (Apart from this kind of lift, consider the applications for creating some kind of 2D-platforming-style map!)

Couldn't open dm_stalkfire.wad :(

Overall this is something I've never seen before. It's very cool.
Curious how this will be included in future maps/projects.

Hopefully fixed whatever I messed up for that to happen.
Had to redo from scratch because Sledge got funky.
