Just like Strider a bit back, but this time the bots have raided myspace...

It's amazing what power has the null texture . I didn't even knew . I'm talking about my campaign in sven coop. I just said ...I'll try and see if it'll really reduce the r_speeds. Not only my r_speeds were reduced by half in some areas , but my compile time is fucking fast !!!! So may this be a lesson for all of you who don't have this behaviour : null every outside face of the map .

And cuz I was talking about my campaign ...... I'll say it again : the map is almost finished , but I'm working on a complex mechanism now . I must say the map is fully interactive and fun . You won't have time to be bored ;) . Even like so , the map can be completed in aprox 15 minutes if you're expert .... or , let's say 40 minutes if you're noob . I can completed it myself in less than 15 minutes but I used the impulse code and the god code .

Should I release the map when it's finished or wait till' the second map ?

A few posts down I mentioned I would upload my games coursework. We had to make a simple 2D game with Macromedia (Adobe) Director MX 2004 using Lingo programming code.

This was my first time using Director as well as writing out the Lingo code therefore don't expect anything professional. My friends said they enjoyed playing it and as my friend Dan stated:

"If you can beat your own game then it must be a very good game idea!!..."

Indeed I found myself playing the game when I should have finished fixing the bugs ^_^

I just tried publishing it as a Flash file but it looks buggy therefore I am uploading the .exe version which was published using Director. (Don't worry it's safe!)

I'm going to be seeing Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in about thirty minutes. Woot!

Edit: Well, it was just about as good as the others, but I personally would have to say that George Lucas has lost his knack for pacing, if he ever even had one. Maybe it was just shear luck the other films turned out so well in this department, but I can certainly say that it doesn't remain the same for The Crystal Skull. The entire last hour or so is basically one prolonged action sequence, with no pauses at all. Tiresome. Plus, the action gets so entirely ridiculous at times, you just want to throw back your head and scream.

Well, I have been inactive for a while, haven't I?

I finally finished tweaking my Necropolis: Mausoleum map -- although for the relatively minor mods I made, it didn't seem worth uploading the new version to my site so that is still slightly outdated. I can't even remember what the changes were, anymore!

After a brief hiatus I started mapping again -- and so far, with numerous interruptions along the way, I've been working on my latest effort for almost a year now! The idea was to rebuild my first level, LavaLab, using some of the tricks I've learned since I first released it all those years ago. This plan was inspired partly by a general sense of dissatisfaction with the mostly square volcanic crater -- and partly by a great set of volcanic rock and lava graphics made available by srry in "The Free Texture Thread"...

It must be 8 months or more since I first told srry I'd be making use of his graphics, and showed him my very early level layout. Since then the level has gotten rather complicated, and the last month or two - in what little time I get to actually work on the thing - have been a constant juggling act, trying to add more to the level while keeping the CLIPNODES below 100% (I'm hovering at around 95%, most days...) There's still plenty I want to do with it, so it won't be released for a while yet - but perhaps 'tis time to show srry a couple more screenshots of what I've done with his textures... :)

O. A friend wants to design another level with me and we came up with the idea of having a steam train which travels across a desert. The players have to capture each train cart.

O. I am eagerly waiting for Metal Gear Solid 4 and Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit for the PlayStation 3!!! (Even though PS3 sucks I can't miss MGS4)

O. I am excited after seeing the new Left 4 Dead game footage! It looks much better and should be lots of fun :D

O. Lastly I will write up that Assassins Creed Review sometime! I promise!

Today my pc wouldn't work. For some reason i couldn't turn it on if my key board was plugged in. (im serious) I was able to turn it on without the keyboard being pluged in, but if i plug it back in, it wouldn't work and then if i restarted the pc, the screen would just be blank and the pc would just be idle and wouldn't start(it turned on but it wasnt booting).

For a while i taught it was dead broke... but i decided to open it up and che ck things out.

So i opened it up, cleaned some stuff, dusted it, made sure all the contacts were in place and stuff and voala! it worked! anyway, i had no idea that a keyboard can affect your monitor and you'r video card.

P.S: i completed gtaIV in four days and ive got nothing to do.

I'm making great progress in that sven coop campaign . The first map is almost finished . I even had a leak war which I won ....

maybe in 3 weeks , one month , one month and a half it will be ready for sharing ?

I hope so ...
