I need to ask TWHL a quick favour. As you know every Episode I record it and upload to Youtube. Well EP2 and Portal are next and I thought to myself how could I get more people watching them when so many others have uploaded their own...Well I thought by uploading good quality vids.
Now I found a recent guide that lets you bypass the Youtube compressor but at a price.
1. The length of the video is a lie...(I'll explain why in a sec)
2. For some people with crap speeds the video will freeze every say 5 seconds which can be very annoying.
So how do I do it? Well the guide basically says you render a vid. Now you convert this vid to FLV1. You define the Kbit aka quality. Youtube defaults this to 350 which is crap. I raised it to 1000 first and found it lagged for a handful of people. Then you use a HEX editor to make the duration longer thus lowering the bitrate. It has to be under 350 Kbit to remain untouched.
So now I'm trying 750kbit instead of 1000 and I want people to test it for me. Could you just tell me if it plays alright. Cheers:

ALSO REMEMBER TO CLICK ACTUAL SIZE TO SEE IT THE WAY IT IS MEANT TO BE.
