Unlike TF2 (not sure tho, please correct me if I'm wrong), this game can actually be handled by crappy old computers. Besides that, it's a great game to pick up and just play with your RL mates who either aren't real gamers or who don't have any Valve games..

This game looks a bit like Team Fortress 2, but unlike Team Fortress 2, this game looks fun.

Yes, it's free alright. Where they get the money from you ask? From advertisements in the loading times between maps, which really, I don't think is such a big thing. You don't have to pay for shit to get an advantage over a other player.

Ok, it's questionable, I give you that. But does it really matter? A good game is a good game. Surely this game has the same input (cartoony violence) but that doesn't mean the games are identical to each other.

Checked the site, trailers, screenies, etc. Looks indeed a lot like a TF2 ripoff, though I'll refrain from judging untill I've actually played it.
As for now, judging from what I saw, I have to say it didn't impress me that much.

It looks so fun. But I am not paying for new weapons, really.
I get that they charge for it cuz they need to get money from SOMEWHERE (ads would have been better tho IMO) but I'm not paying for it, but I think the game will be fun anyways. :>

@Trapt: Yea you can buy stuff, but its more luxery items, like clothes and etc to make your guy look badass. And they have systems in place for people who cant play as much or who can't buy stuff to try and even it out.
@FresheD: It looks awesome, tell me how the beta is, and take some screenies or videos!
