Just use the arch tool, ctrl+m x=90, cut it in half, closen up the width to the right size (the arches on that pic seem to have a width of 32) , align the textures by selecting the correct surfaces (the face down/inside ones) holding alt and pressing second mouse on the to be aligned surfaces (the sides). Put the wanted texture on the face down/inside surfaces. Done.
..might have missed something, haven't mapped in ages, this is from the top of my head.

I doubt Rimrook will actually notice much difference since I always classed him as a master of Architecture, and the biggest improvement Hammer 4 has over Hammer 3.5 is the input/output entity system.
the shadows on the collumns in the top picture look weird.
You should write tuts on architecture rimmymoo, with tips and stuff..
