Adobe CS4 is deu in for November 08, certainly interesting for me. Would i mind having a legal version so i could actually sell my work? Yes. What is the price i would pay for that? Well, take a look at this stuff:
Something is seriously fucked up, and someone should smack those people at Adobe in the face. Offcourse you can apply this to many products like 3D studiomax, which even though is a really good product but also terribly overpriced. Somehow, i think this isnt going to change anytime soon, and it really isnt wise to startup a business with illegal software.

For big companies this is peanuts. They buy one copy and then the whole network can use it. Photoshop is build for the big ones. The rest just download it for free

CS4 has some nice bells and whistles on it, especially flash this time around. It's built towards Animators rather than artists. So you can make a 2D character rig that works like a 3D rig.
Of course, it gets easier as I'm nearing my graduation from uni.
as far as purchasing? likely not. I won't DL them either, I'm fine with what I have. The only advantage of getting the new CS4 Photoshoop is it can now use your GPU. (graphics card)

Yes, but you cant warez it when your a company.
Rim, i indeed look forward to flash 10, 3D'ish stuff and all that jazz is going to make a big leap in the casual games market. Unfortunately its immensely overpriced.
Do what you want cause a pirate is free,
You are a pirate!
And you can always say you've done the textures with Paint
Amazon FTW.

Fireworks alone is priced at over $400 full iirc, which is crap considering what a lot of FREE alternatives offer.
