Don't worry man, you'll get it next time... I should have failed my driving test too because i fucked up EVERYTHING, but my instructor was drunk and couldn't tell or didn't care (i'm not kiding).

Tetsu0, this was the on-the-road test. I don't know about where you live, but here the only written test you take is to get your permit to practice on. I failed that the first time, but that was a long time ago.
Before the test started, the instructor was already pissed off. My dad had left a crucial form on the table at home, and the woman was being a bitch and refused to accept his out of state driver's license as valid (you can pick whatever state you want as your residence when you're in the military.) So that didn't go too smoothly, and then we rushed back home to pick up the missing form and get a signature from my mom, who is registered in-state. We got back ten minutes late to the appointment, and ended up having to wait another fifteen for the next people to go before us.
So I was a nervous wreck at this point, and ended up taking a left in front of oncoming traffic at an intersection and got honked at. Also, apparently I was speeding on an unmarked road she deemed to be 25MPH, so that didn't help. I didn't have a bunch of little errors a lot of people seem to be failed for. But two critical ones.

You got further than I did. I got my L's, learned automatic and about a week of manual before I started working full-time and my learning period ran out. I'll resit everything and get my license one of these days. >_>

My first time out (on the test, mind you) i got cutoff by a jeep and was forced into oncoming traffic. Needless to say i failed. But it was either get whacked by a jeep (immediate fail) or swerve into oncoming traffic.
And i couldn't slam on the brakes either. That wouldn't have helped. So i had to eat my 'congratulations' cake without even having my license.
Yeah anyway in CT, you have to take a written test for the permit, then you need to take a written test for the license, THEN after passing that you can take the road course driving test. Which ends with a back - in parking job.
Second time was cake tho. The officer actually asked me why i failed the first time and said if he was the one testing me, at the point i got forced off the road, he would have let me start over because it was quote ' bogus'
Don't feel bad srry. They'll be more chances, and when you get your license, it'll be even more amazing.

At least you haven't given up like moi. Short sum-up: My teacher was independent which meant he didn't have to worry so much about what he did etc so he used to shout a lot which put my confidence down.
In the end I just stopped cause it went down hill. My friend, who had the same guy, also stopped. Uni came up and well I've not been bothered since I get the train to uni and no doubt I'll get a job in London hopefully so.

Axel, not really sure. I was younger then and less confident I guess. Plus stalling in a dual carriageway roundabout was not the best thing to happen :@

What the hell would you do with a pilots license, seriously? I can't afford a plane, and any occasional use would be for mere leisure. Anyway, you'd still have to ride your bike to the airfield.

Habboi, try stalling at traffic lights with about 10 cars behind you, then forgetting to apply the handbrake so you roll back and almost hit the car behind you, causing it to use it's horn.

I'm glad that I don't have to drive on the same roads as you all. You know that you have to know how to drive before you take a driving test? You might want to find out about that.
Sorry to hear tho..

...That makes me feel better...
But seriously, I did pretty damn good aside from that one really stupid move.

Habboi, why did you tell him to stfu and go with another company?
That was a bad day
