Damn, just watched the trailer, I'd love to see it.
Bullshit or not, it seems interesting.

For the past two weeks or so, it's been one of the most heavily downloaded movies across the entire torrent circuit. It's definitely in the top 5 for sure in download popularity. But I will wait for the DVD though.

Well yea, that "shitty bootleg DVD" as you put it was most likely burned from a low quality video source commonly known in the bitorrent world as a "R5 cam" recording. In other words, somebody recorded the movie inside a theater where it was being shown at using a camcorder. Sometimes the pirate will even use a cell phone to record the movie. Anyway, The Fourth Kind movie will come out on Blu-ray and DVD March 16th, 2010. So until then, a good quality DVD or BD Rip will not be available online for download.

I loved the 4th kind. I always believed in the alien stuff, call me a nerd, i don't care. I absolutely LOVED that movie. Scared the piss outta me a few times too.

If that 'real' footage is real, then holy shitballs batman, that's hard to dispute.

i thought it was great until i found out it was a total scam like the blair witch. It was very underhanded for them to promote the movie as they did with milla jovavich saying that it was based on true events and actual footage....

but yeah, when i thought it was real, it was scary as shit.

Damn I thought it was real as well. I just assumed they weren't allowed to release a film that lies but I'm thinking on false advertising.
