.....and yet with everything bad about it said here and on other countless forums all over the web, Apple is going to end up selling millions of them anyway, people will be standing in lines for hours, just like they did for the iPhone. In less than 60 days, the madness starts all over again.

Indeed, millions will sell, it's basically just a big iPod touch, yet no one I know agrees with me. Can you install from a CD? Noooo. Can you use an external HDD? Noooo. Does it suck dick? Yeeessss.

For $600-800 you could get a fairly awesome netboo-.. ON WAIT IS THAT AN OVERSIZED PALM PC WITH THE APPLE LOGO ON IT?! buys
Honestly though, I can't see how you'd get $800 of functionality out of this one. It's too huge to be a palm PC, which puts it in the netbook category (..eh?), where it's basically nothing. I wouldn't have been surprised to see a slightly bigger palm PC version of the iPhone, running some mobile OSX ver., but this just doesn't make sense. Not to mention no multitasking, even the iPhone can do it.
Weird move, Apple. Not that it's not going to sell though. Fuckin' macfags.
EDIT: Lol'd. Using phrases like "internet dork" and "work mode" takes the cake.

Fact of the matter is, the iPhone was actually great for a phone. It had all the necessary functions of a 3G device, and more, plus the excessive amount of apps made it highly customizable for whatever needs you have. I probably would've gotten one myself if I didn't prefer having all my gadgets (phone, mp3 player, camera, etc.) as separate entities, not an all-in-one monstrosity, or didn't mind touchscreens in general.
The ipad, however, does not perform any task better than your average netbook. Hell, even the fanboys are running out of things to say in its defence. Some of the arguments from the macfag side I've seen are that it "doesn't make you feel like you're at work", or that "multitasking is for internet dorks". 'Nuff said, I think.
)
and it's a mac. - Boo
I kinda want it but i really wouldn't get one.
No USB support?
Apple has full control over what applications you have?
Fuck you, Apple.
Maximum storage size w/ Wifi + 3G? 64GB, $829.
iPod touch's have 64GB storage available now.

EDIT:
also, the prices are outrageous....who the crap would spend that much for that piece of shit?
Oh a few,.....the same millions of Apple minions who bought the iTouch and iPhone.
