A while ago one of my cats got its foot caught in a trap, and was limping quite badly. Today I came home from college to find out that the leg had to be amputated. Poor cat. :(

That's really sad and depressing to hear. If that ever happened to my cat, I will just tell the Vet to put him to sleep. I just don't have it in my heart to see my cat suffer day to day due to a missing limb. Cats are very physically active with their acrobatics, but above all, are very independent mind wise. It would be a huge blow to them mentally with this kind of injury.

To sleep? Are you serious?

You dont have the heart to see your cat live happily with you still accepting it even if its crippled but you have the heart to put him to sleep immediately after it loses a limb. Yea, a true lover alright.

:( Poor cat.

My cat coughs and hacks all the time and I can't do anything about it.

My mother refuses to take him to the vet.

He seems to be coping rather well. He doesn't appear to have a problem walking, he ran pretty fast across the room today. He runs like a houndeye. :)

heh, little houndeye cat. You should look around on the internet for a houndeye costume for your cat. It would look awesome to have a houndeye cat for halloween.
