I just got "promoted" to ninth grade yesterday, ill miss middle school, some of my friends are going to different schools. I was to nervous to tell the girl i like i like her. and at school i felt happy, but now i feel sad and depressed, i feel as though i left a part of me behind, and i think high school is going to be scary and I'm going to get beat up. so yea, how you guys doin?

It's not that bad, why do you feel so scared?

You won't get beat up. At least not physically.
entering High School can be scary, but it's a good change. You get to start choosing what you want to learn, rather than what they think you should learn.

yea, but there weren't any computer classes for freshmen, so i took computer applications, and its just MS word i think. Next year im planning on going to a place called EVIT, taking 3d modeling.

Well, there are a couple electives for 9th graders in Canada. I assumed the US was the same. Might be wrong.

We have plenty of electives in the US. 9th graders have the least amount of choices, but there are still tons for them. It's just a matter of where you are at.

Well, yeah 9th graders only get 2 electives, and they have to be in a specific area, but still. It's better than the public school system.
