Good feeling aint it. I still had my old PC when EP2 came out and had to lower the graphics a little but when I got a new PC and played through it again, it was a whole new experience.

Unbreakable: I did have dialup for a long while, but I have upgraded to broadband.

Blitzkrieg: Sucks. My MBP has been pretty damn stable over the years, aside from one of the cooling fans requiring some grease every now and then. I picked up an 8-core Mac Pro.

crollo: Strideh will get his chance, don't worry.

Habboi: Damn straight. I actually played through HL2 and Episode 1 recently when they got re-released for OS X, but I saved Episode 2 for the new computer. Granted, I doubt Episode 2 is really pushing the computer in any way, it's a pretty old game now. Still, motion blur is nice and so is not taking an FPS hit when switching on the torch.

Ant, yeah it sucks it turns out theres a problem with the boards on the particular run of models that I got.

I'm hoping then that I can bend them into a repair even though I'm off warranty now.
