Lots of random stuff on my mind.

So it hasn't even been a week and I'm growing restless knowing there's a perfectly good competition going on and I can't map for it. Only a few more weeks then I'll get my new laptop. I'm also kinda missing paying HL deathmatch and OP4 Deathmatch with my friends and clan. This sucks I've resorted to playing though The Orange Box on my Xbox again. I HATE the strider battle at White Forest, if the stupid rebels would concentrate less on shooting the striders and more on the hunters that would make it so much easier, although when you finally do beat it you feel more accomplished I guess. So while on the topic of bosses, Why is the Nihilanth so easy to kill? Going on how much health I have at the end of his battle the Gonarch should have been the final boss as I had the least Health after fighting it.
What other bosses are in Half-Life, The Power Up Garg? The Blast Pit Tentacle? I can't think of any others.
One last thing, who would win in a creepy stare contest G-man or Weegee?

you should play some mods to look for challenging bosses.
I can remember one, it was a crawling nihilanth with a barnacle tongue and he chases you around the room very fast you have to run or else he catches you and you will become dinner.

Well right now I'm using an Asus Eee netbook. The computer that died was a Dell Inspriron.

I'm assuming he's using the default xandros linux, on the default 701 model, which only has 4 gigs of SSD space [about 400-500 mb's left after factory installation of xandros]

Nope, I used to have them on it before I got the Inspriron but I don't feel like installing steam and the games on a computer I'll only really be using for a short period of time and during travel.

I liked the last battle in ep2. It was quite challenging, if you want to get those achievements, of course.

Yea I liked it and I actually chose to play though just that chapter a third time just so I could do it again and it doesn't seem as hard as it did the first time. I just needed to develop a better tactic, usually what I do now is use the logs lying around to take out the hunters and then use the shotgun to blow the strider up. I made the mistake the first time of using my guns to shoot the hunters while they only takes 2 hits with the logs and I used the pistol to shoot the maggnusson devices which makes it a lot harder. I still haven't been able to get the achievement for saving all the building s yet though. I think it would be easier on computer than on Xbox 360.

lol, if you have high speed internet you can download steam and op4 within an hour or less.

It's only for a few weeks what could I miss in a few weeks on a game that's 10 years old.
