Too much legal and political stuff. I don't know all that much about the American political system. I couldn't finish reading it. I'll just say that anyone who wants do deny someone else the right to marry needs to rethink.

WAAAA? Marriage was brought by the christain people, and it is against the bible to be gay; Since christains brought in marriage, you should follow the rules. It's wrong.

No. Marriage was not brought by the Christian people. It has been practised since long before Jesus and is practised all over the world by people of most religions and by atheists.
Even if it was a Christian invention every Christian has his own idea of God's intentions and how to follow the holy texts. There are many homosexual or bisexual Christians.
A state must never intentionally follow religious rules. For religion is speculation and made-up stories. Tolerable but not to be forced on people.

I'm a catholic and I have absolutely no issue with gay marriage whatsoever.
Christian fundamentalists shit me off. How can anyone take a book with dragons and giants and all kinds of messed up ficticious animals and believe every word?
The most important part of the bible, to me, is the passage where Jesus basically overrides the Ten Commandments and gives us all one very simple message: treat others as you'd like to be treated.
So why stop people from doing something everybody should have a fundamental right to do?

If you guys want to have religious debates, go somewhere else please. I'm more than willing to let you guys have a sensible discussion, but usually this kind of stuff gets way out of hand at TWHL. Keep it civil.
I know certain members of TWHL are evangelists of sorts but just because you believe something does not mean you have any right to disrespect the beliefs of others.
