You know what sucks about today's world? Everything revolves around money, EVERYTHING. It seems like all the rich people have lost the big picture and only think about themselves. Scratch that, it doesn't seem like that, thats how it is. We are paying actors billions of moneys to make us sit on our asses and rot. And paying our teachers $15.00 an hour to make sure we don't all turn out like shit. Now normally I wouldn't complain. But I saw something really cool I might have thought about getting in the near future when I get a job, when I saw the damn price tag on it, now yes, I realize this is a High-End object. But the price is ridiculous. I can't believe the stuff people charge for some things. I realize I'm only 15 and you all will just take a shit on my opinion, but you all have to realize its time someone made this bullshit end, I'm middle class, but were barely making it. No one cares for middle and lower class, only rich people matter anymore, and its bullshit. Flame me and whatever bullshit below in your comments. But I know I'm not the only one who isn't completely fucking stupid.

Welcome to late adolescence. Have fun thinking deep over the next few years.

Also, you're complaining that the price of something was too high. You, a jobless, moneyless individual, are complaining that he can't afford something. You aren't allowed to make that call -- especially if you plan on being so vague to the rest of us about what it is and how much it costs.

You're asserting that rich people only care about themselves, when in fact your notion of "I deserve this but it costs too much" implies that you are only thinking of yourself as well. You're hiding that notion very poorly under things like "teachers don't get paid enough."

This may be because of the poor economy in america right now, but in certain other countries this problem is a lot a lot worse. I believe you're right about the super rich people being selfish. Like, this one guy I heard purposefully buys several homes at once, not for living in but for the sole purpose of forcing the house prices to inflate. This prevents your typical middleclassman from buying a home. It's pretty sad, anyway enjoy being a democrat.

"You know what sucks about today's world? Everything revolves around money, EVERYTHING" I most heartily agree.
When you factor in the arguments, killings, and just plain, simple greed it causes, no amount of money is worth the paper/linen it's printed on.

15, the same age I started feeling depressed about the passing of time, feeling worried about my last years of childhood.

It sucks to be extremely aware of your surrounding world- it caused me depressions too. I have almost came to a point of resignation. I still feel bad sometimes though.

Don't worry. There are rich guys who do have care for the poor ones. It's just that they're rare...
Opening your eyes will hurt your soul.

"When you factor in the arguments, killings, and just plain, simple greed it causes, no amount of money is worth the paper/linen it's printed on."
Don't be a fool, Jeff. The existence of currency, at the fundamental level, came about because of an inherent desire for something in return.
Whatever is valuable is what these people would be hoarding/asking for with their "business." Little pieces of paper deemed valuable by an authority have little to no bearing on whether or not these things happen.

Money isn't the cause of greed or violence. People were stealing and killing each other long before money was invented.

No, not really.

I think you're confusing 'money' as in paper bills potatis. People often kill not just for their own appeal, but because they'll get something in return. It doesn't have to be a shiny piece of paper with "2 Dollars" written on it to count as 'money' or currency.

Also you're missing the picture here soup, he is jobless, but he said he's looking at objects he MIGHT get when he get's a job, but the prices are absolutely fucking ridiculous because it would take probably weeks or even a month out of his entire work check to buy it. That's when things get a little complicated.

Money is an entity whose purpose and main value lies in trade. That's how I define money. Coins came before paper bills.

Prices do not necessarily have to be ridiculous to take months to afford. I could not afford a brand new car if I worked for a month, not because of ridiculous pricing, but because cars require a lot of material and are complex to develop, manufacture and transport.

Potatis was talking to Jeff. Jeff was talking about bills.
You're such a fucking idiot, it astounds me.

He doesn't know how much he is going to be paid, and he's never had a job before to give him an idea. I'm going to go out on a limb and say he doesn't even know who exactly he wants to work for.
Also, any minimum wage job will pay well enough for pretty much little gadget he wants to be affordable within the first week -- unless he's really going all out for something big, in which case he'll be able to afford it in two.
Unless he starts mowing lawns for 10 hours a week or less, he won't be waiting long for anything -- especially when he has absolutely no other expenses to pay.

Jobs pay a hell of a lot more than allowance, and 90% of the time prices are warranted. So, do you really want to defend a little bitch who thinks he's entitled to expensive things, or do you want to encourage him to learn the value of a fucking dollar?

I never stated I deserved it, I want it. And in time after I save enough money I'm sure I can get it. I'm simply saying I shouldn't have to save my money for 5 years to buy it. When something new will come out by the time I can afford it.
