I just got a set of Audio-Technica ATH-T500 cans.
I literally cannot put into words how good they are. It's like I'm rediscovering all my music for the first time. The dynamic range is so, so wide and the sound is so open. Best cans I've ever owned.
Best cans I've ever experienced, in fact, and I've tried some that cost a considerable amount more.
SO COMFY as well and the noise cancellation is unbelievable.

How much did they cost? Oh and btw, why are you calling them "cans"?
and "cans" is an extremely commonly used term for headphones in Sound Engineering, TV & Broadcast and DJing. Very surprised you haven't seen it used before.
And what I need is a pair of wireless headphones. I'd be willing to sacrifice sound quality for not accidentally ripping the cables out of the headphones when I stand up like I've done with every pair I've ever owned.
