Just tested another cool use of Goldsrc models/props:

Took me a while to figure out what I was actually seeing. Very neat illusion. Can't see it having much practical use in mapping, though.

Wow, cool illusion. Reminds me a bit of "5D space" in the Marathon engine. You could have two difference spaces occupying the same space, based on where you entered said space. Confusing to say the least, but lead to some very creative, engine-pushing uses one people experimented with it.

Actually I am designing a map which should look as surreal as possible. Creating space at places where you know there should be something else is part of this map.
May be useful for maps/mods where you need such illusions. I.e. if a mod's storyline sometimes takes place in the mind of the protagonist (dreams/nightmares). Maybe it could be a horror game

So a bunch of func_illusionaries/func_wall_toggles. I always wanted to do something like that even before I knew what entities were. But never came up with a practical use for it.

I've always wanted to do something like in Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory, where they go into that tiny room and when they leave they're somewhere else. It would have to be seamless though, so no levelchanges or teleports.

I decided to make another example. Now it's easier to understand.
