Basically, you're getting a one-tooth less mouth.

I've had two teeth removed. The first one felt like they hadn't given me any anaesthetic(?), the pain was unbelievable. Second time I felt pretty much nothing at all. Odd.

I still need to get two wisdom teeth taken out. They haven't started hurting yet, though, so fuck it.

I removed one tooth, didnt hurt, but they removed it for over 15 minutes. I have strong gums :>

Must depend on the person. I know someone who reckons wisdom extraction didn't hurt at all.

When I had my wisdom teeth removed it knocked me out for a good week. Spring break '09 lol. Spent the week owning super smash brawl. Got so nasty with sonic.
Lived off applesauce, yogurt, chocolate nutrition shakes, and macaroni and cheese.
Everyone has a different experience I hope yours is painless!

Yeah it was actually painless because my dentist is very compassionate and skillful. He gave me 10 mg of Valium (aka Diazapam or a kind of common tranquilizer) to take 30 minutes before I even sat in the seat. Then I huffed Nitrous Oxide to feel fluffy while he injects the Novocaine. I didn't feel a thing.

So for those who haven't had theirs pulled yet, its not bad at all. Firstly, the Nitrous is called "laughing gas" because of the body's natural reaction to it, which is a quick exhale that resembles a chuckle. When they pull it out, the sound and crunch feels identical to biting and cracking into a hard candy. If you can do that, you can get this done.

I've only had a little bit of pain after I got home but the amount of relieved pressure on my other teeth, jaw, and ears is nothing compared to the tooth aches and stuff I've been dealing with for the last four years.

Honestly get them pulled AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! I couldn't because they hadn't come in soon enough. I'm looking forward to eating stuff without any pain again.
