Anyone tried out the Sniper Elite V2 demo yet? The games promotion has been focused on the brutal kill cams you get for good shots. Full anatomical modelling of enemies combined with realistic bullet simulation etc.

Anyway, here's me playing through the demo with a commentary of my thoughts over the job, in case you haven't tried it or even heard of it yet.

I've tried to keep it interesting and skipped some of the wandering around parts.

For a game so focused on realistic sniping mechanics, the actual shooting felt more arcadey than a lot of modern shooters which is saying something. It also looks about 4 years old, but what really kills it for me is the lack of planning. What's the point in an assassination game where your path is completely laid out in front of you?

The kills are satisfying, sure, but the pornographic violence of it would wear thin incredibly quickly.

Yeah, I'm almost on the fence about that game, but like Archie said, It doesn't look great and it didn't look like there was alot of sniping in it.

I only took a look at your playthrough, and the whole game looks pretty boring after the third eyeball shot.
