Anyway, to make this actually journal worthy, last week I got a hold of a copy of one of my favourite games of all time, still in it's original packaging.

I played this game to death when I was a kid. And then I let my brother lend it to a friend, and I never saw it again. I've always wanted to get another copy, and while I know you can get it as ad-supported freeware nowadays, I could never get that working. I managed to get a new copy of it on eBay, on the XBox just as my old copy was. And I'll finally be able to play it today, as I've found and dusted off my old XBox.
I am so happy. :)

Well, I found my XBox, turns out that at some point it was separated from it's power supply lead, so I will have to find that.

And Yes I do CT. Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humour.

The Xbox uses a standard C7 power cable. They're used for cassette recorders, radios, other audio/video equipment and laptop power supplies.
