If anyone's curious my mapping partner took a pic of our playtest tonight. Seems so weird seeing it when I first got my hands on it. It's so close to being finished, can't wait.

The difference between the orangemapped version and the near-final version is huge! I almost can't believe they came from the same vmf! Looking great, keep it up!

Looks fucking awesome. Those pipes look pretty natural IMO. Perhaps a single wooden board running along the length of the bottom of the outside two pipes that would keep them from rolling under the pressure. Kind of like a wedge?

Thanks peeps. The pipe pile as I like to call it definitely needs your suggestions however we're leaving it as it is for now because as a gameplay thing we're not sure it's needed. Ingame it looks silly when you run on top of it so whenever we have a disagreement we basically say "Let's throw it on the workshop test pile."

One thing you could try to make the pipe pile look less silly but keep it there as cover is just 'roll' the top pipe off the pile and have it lying next to it. That way if the player is on it, there's more foot space for their model.
