Just watched "Jobs" at the theatre. Its really inspirational. Though I think all of the Windows ads that were on before the previews was just lulzy.

It's really interesting seeing the life of someone who believes in the same philosophies as I do. I'm no Steve Jobs though, hell I never really knew the guy. Yet we have a lot in common. I think there are lots of people out there (maybe you?) who share that same spark.

Sorry but I'm gonna post this.

Dennis Ritchie

Yeah I'm not negating the fact that Jobs actually created a trend. But his fame is a bit unjustified when you think of other people's contribution to society.

I haven't seen the movie but I'm almost sure it tracks the progress of Jobs, his way of life.
For such a movie, you'd better watch Into the wild.

If you haven't seen The Lost Interview, you really should. It's an insightful, unedited interview from 1995, after he left Apple.

Who is you guys? I'm being 100% serious. Watch the interview. It's excellent and Jobs describes a lot of his principles in detail.

Steve Jobs has a cult hating from anybody who doesn't like him, so I think Rim saw one hate comment (all it takes) and assumed they were going to come flooding in.

actually yes, that's kinda accurate. I know a lot of people like PC over Macs. Its not about his products though, its about his philosophies.

He may be a genius in design and innovation, but he's a horrible person. We weren't even testing for that.

He denied paternity for his daughter, Lisa. The DNA test proved him wrong, then he went on and named a line of computer after her.

His philosophy is about being an irresponsible parent and son.

He's mean, unreasonable, and a megalomaniac.
