So people disliking Windows 8 (or Windows 10, not that anyone said that) "for no reason" is relevant to Stu, I don't know, accidentally pressing a download button or something?

Yes Stojke, I am completely stupid and agreed to the download without knowing.
Now that he's out of here, for everyone else, I did not. I'm completely sure I never once agreed to anything, and all this did indeed happen without asking or telling me. Then I was told I was supposed to "opt out" rather than opt in, which would kind of explain it. Still doesn't explain why I didn't see any option to do that anywhere. Everything looked too opt-in.
When I turned on my computer today it BSOD'd on me on boot (I think it was the first BSOD since I got this computer three years ago) and I feared it was going to boot to W10. Thankfully it didn't and I hope it was just a coincidence.

How is the interface looking so far, easily customizable? Is the white background on explorer & apps still bright enough to hurt the eyes? I've heard from others they are seeing fps improvements in games, nothing seriously benchmarked, just rumors. I'm hesitant to accept my Win reserve when it becomes available because of the whole UI customization thing...

I find it hard to believe you didn't click some buttons that triggered this... I know that because I agreed, I just haven't updated it yet.
Waiting is the best solution now, there's no hurry to get on the Windows 10 bandwagon, because apparently Microsoft recklessly disrespects your privacy.

There's plenty wrong with it, as with any other version, Jessie. Like cStriker said, there are the privacy issues; amongst others. Of the top of my head, i know about the wi-fi network default sharing config. fiasco.
Aside from that, I've heard it's apparently good, but I'm still here using 7 and enjoying it.
What was your point then?
Everywhere I go same story all over - I don't like it because I don't.
