Hell yeah, let's get this party started!

So, I got an F yesterday. :P
Commented 6 years ago2017-11-04 20:39:34 UTC Comment #68465
A student without an F grade is like a soldier without a rifle.
Commented 6 years ago2017-11-04 21:28:55 UTC Comment #68447
Did you just make that up or do people actually say that?
Commented 6 years ago2017-11-04 21:33:14 UTC Comment #68476
I think that he made it up.
Also, I had one of my dreams come true.

I had a dream where I met a Bosnian, which I first met on a furry Discord server.
And it came true the next day. I actually met him! :3
We go to the same high school, so...

It's one of those common sayings (idioms), not sure if it's said locally or only in Poland.

You might have experienced a precognitive dream Admer.

So, my journal made it into what most people call a meme. :D

In my country, we say "Svaka ocjena je za Ä‘aka" - "Every grade is for a pupil/student".
Commented 6 years ago2017-11-05 02:26:16 UTC Comment #68458
Dammit. I wanted this journal number.
Commented 6 years ago2017-11-05 03:05:30 UTC Comment #68455

Commented 6 years ago2017-11-05 03:20:22 UTC Comment #68454

Snehk - OIY. WoT has it's 'fixed' matchmaking now.
Commented 6 years ago2017-11-05 11:05:11 UTC Comment #68448
im not sure this journal is going to take off like that other one that Admer posted that go over 180 comments...
Maybe if we get some more memes happening?

Commented 6 years ago2017-11-05 14:15:06 UTC Comment #68479
And now, other people might come, arguing that these aren't memes. Yes, it's an excellent start.

I dunno, a guy with muscles is telling to to JUST DO IT and another guy with a clock is telling me to JUST STOP

WoT MM can be depressingly funny at times.

This journal surely needs some Dimbark!

How is wold of tanks and doom 3 got to do with independant game making?

It's hard to play and develop at the same time.

Double post. It's shoutbox anyways!

I started learning Russian at the Uni today...
Commented 6 years ago2017-11-06 15:59:02 UTC Comment #68480
My dad once told me to play World of Tanks. Lol.

Good luck with Russian. It's a fun language to learn. :)
Commented 6 years ago2017-11-07 11:46:32 UTC Comment #68471
It really is extremely fun, just like Japanese, you should look into it. I can send you english-Japanese coursebook I use.

I don't know, really. I'm focusing on learning German in high school, so I don't have the time and interest to learn Japanese.
Commented 6 years ago2017-11-07 15:27:28 UTC Comment #68482
Oh hey, I'm doing it again:

random QuakeOne thread

Except this time, I actually like where it's going, despite them not fully understanding me. I'm making quite some progress. :)
Commented 6 years ago2017-11-08 04:50:07 UTC Comment #68459
Admer, if I have half a nickels worth of advice it'd be this: While some of those people in that thread are straight up retards and assholes, they all certainly seem to be, and have been, adults long enough to know what they're saying.
You really need to be a lot less interested in making a point and holding it to the bloody end, and more interested in questioning and being open to suggestions from other people. You will learn nothing if every time somebody speaks to you, you're only listening to yourself making a response and waiting for them to finish talking to say it.

Try it sometime, if you disagree with somebody, ask them to elaborate on their point. You'd be surprised how often somebody can sound completely wrong one minute, but then sound like the only sane person in the room the next.
Commented 6 years ago2017-11-08 15:11:11 UTC Comment #68483
The problem is, I'm stubborn and too lazy to change (thanks to my Montenegrin origins). Once I like an idea of mine, I'll hardly let go. Of course, there are exceptions, sometimes.

By the way, why would you care? I'm just another kid who will fail in life anyway, so there is no point in giving me advice. Or is it?
Commented 6 years ago2017-11-08 17:29:21 UTC Comment #68457
Most of the times, a person's beliefs are tied to their self esteem. Invalidating their opinions will be an assault on their character, so nobody is gonna cave in.
Commented 6 years ago2017-11-08 20:28:02 UTC Comment #68472
Why do you think that you'll fail in life anyway? You will fail, but only if you'll keep repeating that. Only you can decide whether you've failed or not.

I believe that I'm successful when I try my best and work against all odds. I don't need to achieve anything to succeed. The effort and gained knowledge or skill is worth much more than the effect for me, but I do care about effects as well. Being an ok, loyal and helpful dude is also important for me.

It may be too early for you to find out what makes you successful. Just don't listen that whole "you need lots of money, huge mansion, extremely expensive stuff... to be successful" crap. That's simply put, toxic way of thinking, but I assume you already know about that.
Commented 6 years ago2017-11-09 21:57:39 UTC Comment #68484
As I said, I won't bother you people with this specific part of my personal things. I consider it pointless because I don't see the problem. I might even make some of you worry over nothing. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Case closed.

Now, let's switch the topic.

So, I watched a video about dividing polynomials (got an exam tomorrow) and I came to a conclusion: Maths is so much easier when explained slower and in steps. The teacher in my school explains it well, but he rushes constantly. x3

Take it from his point of view or his shoes - perhaps he's had it to his tits with teaching you all or just, likes to rush things, after all, you guys are pretty much from the USSR part of the world, ish, I guess..?

Russian it all the way~~~~~

Better late than never, boys:

You can't see it so well, but you could notice that the car's front part is heavily damaged. XD

By the way, I started learning some QuArK. For someone who is used to Hammer-style mapping, it isn't too bad! Because of the many options, I'm thinking that QuArK is like the Linux of map editors (kind of, haha).

So, there's this girl in my class. She's really nice and cute, plays CS:GO, and lives in the town where I went to elementary school (I'm just 0.5 kilometres away).

For some reason, now I'm really feeling interested in CS:GO.

oh la la you have a crush
Commented 6 years ago2017-11-30 14:58:37 UTC Comment #68493
Really? :o
I didn't expect it to be like this. My first and probably only time having a crush was in 6th grade. And guess how that turned out. I acted as if she and I were soulmates. No wonder she hated me.

I guess I've become more of an adult as years passed by, so I'm a better person now. Haha, I'm glad I've changed. It turns out that there really is someone better than my crush in 6th grade. Much better.

Alone, as I had feared. I always knew this day would come eventually, I just hoped it wouldn't be so soon.
Commented 3 years ago2020-11-20 10:26:01 UTC Comment #103075
Not entirely alone.
I found my comfort in an Internet relationship with a Hungarian girl, who I'm hoping to meet one day once I've a job and a car. Hungary's pretty damn close, unlike the countries of all my previous relationship partners (mainly the USA and the UK).

It kinda sucks that I've been starved of physical affection for years. Certainly, there are many people out there who are the same. Haven't had a hug, haven't kissed anyone, haven't been kissed... but alas. If I've gone through this year like that, I'll go through the next 5 ones just like so.
But I know I'll get hugs one dayBut I know I'll get hugs one day
