Seems pretty rough. Can you set a higher resolution for the printing nozzle?
Owning a 3D printer has been a desire for me for quite some time though I'm not sure I'd fully take advantage of it and even a decent entry-level model is between 200$-400$. Right now if I want something printed I'll call some friends who have one.
I'm actually searching for some free 3D modeller I could use to create a structure I need. I've heard good things about FreeCad, though people say it's a complicated. I've dabbled with blender before, but blender is too generic and requires god-level dedication to master it.
Yea this 3D printer is my old GMAX by G Create. Its nozzle size is bigger than most 3D printers but when I had my Ultimaker 2+ the micron level you could achieve was much much higher.
Just make sure it has a high micron level comparable to the Ultimaker 2+.
Blender is extremely powerful but for dimensioned models I recommend buying a student license of Rhino 6.0
Don't skimp on your program, and Rhino is cheap and i've used it to develop a small machine product.
if you build it youre gonna have hordes of flatearthers with tinfoil hats setting up tents around the house, waiting for it to take off and for you to finally reveal why you came to this planet
Nice! I'm always envious/jealous of people with 3D Printers. There's so much to do with them like R/C servo mounts, control horns, motor firewalls, custom gears (experimental), prototyping designs, R/C Car rims, etc.

Ha yea Bruce, it does look like a little UFO perched up on the column.
It's on the bucket list for one day.
