the mod is going fine.. my half-life retail is not and i cant re-install for lack of disks. 
when i open it with the -console command at the end of the application target string, no sound plays and when i load a custom game. e.g hostage situation, the console doesnt work.. a big problem when i want to test my third map when i havent yet put the changelevel from 2 to 3...

it DID just run on floppy disk.. u had to have a windows 3.1 boot disk in it all the time... it went into a sort of safe mode if u wanted to save something onto a different disk
