Ok, heres a screenie, kinda looks bad here, might improve in bigger areas with different white light styles. (brighter, dimmer, flicker, etc.)

my idea to create a black and white mod, which will give the SinCity feel. I'll be editing the textures and turning them into a grayscale. All the models and special artifacts will be normal color.

I got the idea from a map I seen called Cs_Noir.

Like I said when I commented your map. Some textures are off, and now that I've seen more progress pics, well, texturing is awful. Do you know how to use the 'texture application mode'?

Habboi, hey, I'm up for that. As long as there's alot of reference pictures of the game.

plus, it could'nt be something like Banjo, or Tooie, or mario, because some of us don't have access to mario textures, which would also make it extremely difficult.

It would need to be some sort of shooter or something if I was to participate. :

No 3mil, thats not possible. The half-life engine can only render 1 sky at a time.

I am looking for somone to create the jurassic park vistors center for my mod (I have tried this and its is just too complex for my skill level)
How do you mean its too complex? If your making a mod, then you should have enough knowledge to create it to look somewhat the same.
If not, then I'd suggest not starting a mod yet. Instead, just practice, read through all the tutorials. They help lots. :)

Yea, its also really hard because not all of us are really familiar with N64. Like, I played it only a couple times in my life.. (mainly Goldeneye) So this would make it very hard for me, and others. :

ah. Maybe thats where I went wrong. 1 sec.. I'll retry it.

Edit:
Nope, still automatically dropped to 2 fps. This time I also closed any programs that take up memory. But no luck.

well, I only get 50-60 FPS in Half-Life 1 which really sucks, and as soon as I go to record the video, the fps drop down to 2. Once I upgrade my PC, it'll be a hell of alot better.. but until then.

BTW, blood idea soons cool, never thought of that. :D

Heres a good tip, for the test chamber, use light_spots, pointing in the correct directions, and edit the brightness and width of the lights. It'll get rid of the full bright feel.

Anywhos, The gui for the compos should'nt be a problem though. Just use another compo results page as a template, and change the links, pictures and text.
Or am I missing something? :

I like the top photo the best (with the islaves) but not to fond of the teleportal thingy.. then again, I never was fond of any test chambers. :P

A better system needs to be made. If Seventh, or any other moderator can't post results in a reasonable time, no offence to Seventh, I realize you've had problems with your PC, but Ant had the results along while ago. Why can't you just say who placed so we can get the next compo running! Or, we find another moderator to judge. THIS SITE SHOULD BE A DEMOCRACY!ALL IN FAVOR OF A NEW COMPO MODERATOR, SAY AYE!! :) :(

actually, I seen the link of the front page, and never knew this thread was in the source forum.

Sometimes it's nice to have bigger textures...Stops rooms feel like they repeat a lot.
For HL2, I completely agree. Seeing that the word 'Sometimes' plays a big role in that sentence.
