I hope you know how to make real gun sounds, not some impression of how a gun would sound.

I assume that you allow the player to use all of the standard weapons? If you wouldnt allow to the player to use any of those i would just model replacement models with new animations. Offcourse you change the damage and clip amount in a .txt file, i believe this is situated in the 0.pk. Though i have no idea how i would make new sounds.

So, should i continue to model? If not, please tell me now. I still got a couple o projects running that some people really want me to finish. And i lack time to model 20 different weapons of there not going to be used. And beside that i got a couple of map projects for The Trenches running.

Cliffs are in my humble oppinion the most easy thing to do, though that is just me, probably because i created a whole lot of em, i even make caves and cliffs go together with the triangle method.

There ok, but not really usefull, if you want to draw a the views for modeling then you should clean it up and make sure its symetrical using the normal line technique.

The model may look extremely smooth deu to using anti aliasing for the render, this removes any jagged lines. Blurs is out a little bit to.

You probably adjusted the reference.smd's bone positions, then it wont match with the animations, the program wont know what to do with it and will distort everything, try not to move a single joint/bone in your modeling/compiling program.

For food, probably something with salt, rather adicted to it.

Im sorry, i didnt mean to insult a whole population, more or less the author whom wrote it.

And yeah, colonialism got us europeans in a lot of trouble, you are the living proof of that. It created wars, only to rape the resources of a country even worse. Anyone whom denies that need to take a good look to the past. Fortunately all of the colonialism has ended recently for The Netherlands, but it has left its trace all over the world. luckily were on good foot now with old colonies, some still belong to the dtuch kingdom(own choice).

You are correct on that Rabideh.

Garg, it IS a WWII gun, like it or not. And that is how it looks, and that is also how it will look in-game if i model it acurate. And yes, they probably still manufacture it today, that is with so many guns isnt it? Dotn we all call the m-15 a modern gun? But we all know its from the vietnam Era(earlier i believe).

Its outdated and has been replaced by the 92fs and the socom.

And really, its not old since the last version. yes, the basic design is very old but it has changed a lot to modern standards. Evolving to the .45.

Btw, you guys got a website?

And about the carbine, i know nothing about a story or so, so how does a WWII relic fit in?

The most important thing to me, as already mentioned by others, is the gameflow. With a nice flow people will enjoy playing your map. Offcourse good looking visuals always help to that.

And offcourse, dont forget to use the info_player_deahtmatch and balance your weapon placement.

Il see and dig up some articles about gameflow if i still can find them.

As most of you probably know there are heavy riots in France, it started by now 12 days ago deu to the police chasing down 2 kids. Unfortunately for them they hid in a transistor room, thus being electrocuted. Now this may not look as a big deal to you, but it was to many kids down there.

As far as what i have picked up from the news and other sources show me that the neighbourhoods are really decaying in wich the riots broke lose, the french governement started the ghetto forming down there 20-30 years ago in the decades of the imigrating workers. Now this may not look like a big deal again, but these people live in rather poor situations. They feel betrayed and forgotten. And now, 30 years of rage is breaking out, the only thing i fear is that they wont get any good attention on the situation.

This doesnt discribe the topic name yet, let me explain on, shant we?

This morning, after smashing my alarm clock for waking me up i strawled downstairs for breakfast, following my usual rythme i came down to the news, so i flipped on the tv and changed the channel.

After a couple of minutes it showed a american news paper, i believe it was the chicago or the new york times, not sure on that though.

The thing that struck me the most was the hughe title if showed:

Europe: Wake up, its war

Now this set me on fire, literaly. It showed a awfull lot of ignorance to the situation for me, in school im working on a subject showing on how city's are build up at all sides, including population. The title showed me imediatly that someone saw a picture/movie of the riots all over france and decided to make some splashy headline of it. Is it just me or can one be so extremely ignorant? How does the other media show's this in America? I wonder what those people where thinking, really......

crawls out from the snarkcave

Aloha guys, someone send me a personal snark with a request in it for a model eh? Just show me some pictures and i'l see what i can do.

Oh, it IS a Desert Eagle in Oposing force. If you claim to know so much about weapons you should be able to see the distinct difference, if not in size at first but mainly in the basic design and shapes. The mk-23 has a blocky top-side of the slider au contrai with the Desert eagle wich has a smooth half-rounded top.

That is, if you know how they look, i can understand if you screw up the difference between a USP and a Socom but between a de and a mk-23 :) .

Alright, now down to the modeling, what do you need and when and for what?

And yes, i am a offcial member for the national snark salvation army. I tend to cherish these animals and throw them to any threat.

Actualy, i own the only living specimen of the in-famous fire snark. Not joking on this :) .

Its not necciscarely a problem that will threathen our excisten, thoug more a political problem, what do you think the US will do when they realise there at a horrible spot? Probably invade a country that can hold most of the northern citizens.

Just a example, the western world will become the third world in such a situation, not instantaniously, but in a couple of decennia afrika will become a strong country due to its global position.

Yeah, they tell us that the polar caps are melting, but what they dont tell us that the hole in the ozon layer is restoring itself a little bit and growing smaller, and offcourse the south polar caps are expanding and growing.

So yeah, way to go greenpeace, if something is going to kill us its going to be ice age, or we blow ourself to smitherseen.
