ok, what about a logo then guys?

Keep in mind that I don't have the t model and can't edit colours, so, will the color blue be ok?
maybe just a circle or something.. of course, the circle would be blue, (example)

[b]I tested a few, and find that leaving it blank looks best, however, came across another problem, his mask, take a look:

So heres my solution, since all badguys wear masks, I thought of doing something like HL2, where all the combines where the same, I know a modeller that would be able to decompile this model, (or perhaps even Pepper) and put the one head (gasmask face) on all 4 options.. if you want, I can even tint the blue goggle eyepiece black instead of the blue.

so yea, for those who don't know what I mean, heres a quick edited picture:

How do you want them to look?

btw, I think they'd look cool if they all wore the gas-mask, but how would you get them like that?

Also thinking about making there forearm (visible skin) a black material so that no skin is showing,

because it would make them look way more 'illegal' if there identity was kept a secret if you know what I mean.

I hate when people stretch there textures!

almost all the textures I use, I usually scale them down to 80 or lower, I never scale the textures above 1.00 unless absolutly nessesary! :D

yea, I don't get it either, (reflective surfaces, or shiny) but I think it's because I use Direct3D, and Software modes only.

my part has alot of files and such, mostly models, so I'm not sure about the beta testing of my part.. where can I host it.

(btw, it's not close to beta testing, maybe another 1 or 2 weeks)

Compo 15 has just ended, and another has started! wow, that is how it should be done every month.. say Seventh, how about making a link from the compo page to another page listing lots of compo ideas.. (for twhl 3) just a thought.

I made a movable ladder with spirit, all though the problem I had was that you don't move with the ladder, you'd just slide of when it moved, to fix it, I put two invisible func_trains on both sides, and yea, it needs the 'Move With' Function only found in the fgd of Spirit.

meh, I have trouble running some pages with Opera, which need Active X, or Java.. even though I have them installed and enabled.. Firefox is more better for that, however I like the idea of Opera having the opened internet windows inside the browser, instead of on your windows taskbar like IE or FF does..

so ya, I mostly use Opera as my browser because it keeps the taskbar clean. But firefox for other things.

and bugs and such will have to be really ironed out if we want barney to go with the player, (what if you need his help, but a scripted_sequence fails?)

Trigger Change Level
I was thinking of a cool, and easy setup for a changelevel transition.
in my level, when going through the city, it changes levels, but first an env_fade is triggered... causing it to quickly fade out, pause, and the load the next level, in which it fades in..
Just an idea..
I think it would give a nice effect... example, when getting out of barney's apartment building, you see the door, you press E at the building exit, (the door : func_button) which fades out, changes level, then fades in with you outside, with barney..

so tell me, why does gordon go to find barney?.. I need more info if I'm going to make this work.. lol.. at the time I'm finding someone to do barney's voice, so that the player can actually follow the story.. instead of not knowing what your doing, etc...

So I need to make a script, so yep, the more info, the better.. :)

yep the most important would be realism for sure, for example your not going to make a large thick bulky door, well, because real doors aren't thick, and bulky. You just have to have good perception. You need to know what looks good and what don't. ;)
