How about mapping a space themed-map? No starwars inspiration on this one.
For example, map a space station(or possibly a human settlement) on Gliese 581g trying to recreate the conditions present there?

I even wrote an article about it on my blog :).

I guess my TWHL nickname has to be the most unoriginal from here. Back in 2007 when I registered I was really playing a lot of Counter-Strike(almost being a "pro"). Hey, I was 13 at the time... I guess I thought about playing counter-strike with lighting bolts.
Actually my nickname is "Samurai Jack", which is again unoriginal. I chose this one right after I connected for the first time to the internet(spring 2007, although I used the internet from about 2004). Why? Well, probably because I like that Cartoon Network character when I was young. Yes, I'm not a Samurai and I will never commit harakiri as well ^^.

For about a year now I'm still trying to figure out a good, original nickname to last at least 10 years from now. I can't find one....

Even though I frequently register on forums\sites with "Samurai Jack", I also invented other nicknames, unoriginal as well :(. For example, my youtube account is "reactor1system" and now if I think of it... well, I'm asking myself wtf did I mean with "reactor1system" back in 2007 ?!
My flickr account is "carstic_productions", but that's a more separate domain-photography(I leave in a karst area).

Oh skals, I always thought "skals" means something like "skulls" or something like that xD.

Pay attention to these lyrics because this is a funny fact.
Seriously, you can't lie about it. It's so popular you will do it(the fact, that is).
Never gonna give you up,
Never gonna let you down,
Never gonna run around and desert you,
Never gonna make you cry,
Never gonna say goodbye,
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
Optional reading:
Never Gonna Give You Up" is a song written by Stock, Aitken & Waterman and sung by English singer Rick Astley. The song was released as the first single from Astley's multi-million selling debut album, Whenever You Need Somebody. The song was a worldwide number-one hit, initially in the singer's native United Kingdom in 1987, where it stayed at number one for five weeks and was the best-selling single of that year. It eventually topped the charts in 25 countries, including the US and Germany.[1]
The song won Best British Single at the 1988 Brit Awards. The music video for the song has become the basis for the "Rickrolling" Internet meme. Arguably, it remains Astley's best-known song.
In 2008, Rick Astley won the MTV EMA awards for "Best Act Ever" with the song "Never Gonna Give You Up", as a result of collective voting from thousands of people on the internet, due to the popular phenomenon of "rick rolling".
"Never Gonna Give You Up" is the subject of a popular Internet prank known as "rickrolling" involving misleading links redirecting to the song's music video. By May 2007, the practice had achieved notoriety on the Internet, and it increased in popularity after its use as a 2008 April Fool's Day joke by various media companies and websites, including YouTube rickrolling all of its featured videos on that day and a website allowing people to Rickroll their friends' phones.[3]
In 'a couple of weeks', about 13 million people had been 'rickrolled' into watching Astley's video, the BBC reported on 1 April 2008. "I think it's just one of those odd things where something gets picked up and people run with it," Astley told the Los Angeles Times in late March 2008, adding: "That's what's brilliant about the Internet." [4][5]
Rick Astley also appeared in the 2008 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade interrupting a song performed by those on a float promoting the Cartoon Network program Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends with a lipsynched performance of "Never Gonna Give You Up".[6]
In several of its protests against Scientology, Anonymous has employed The Rickroll[7].
Fact: You actually sang this(in your mind at least).

The long text is from wikipedia and was intentionally posted you don't read the fact first before reading the quote :P

Get GTX460. It isn't a lot slower than 470, but it's cooler and more power efficient(hey, everyone wants green parts these days right?).
It actually runs modern games very well(ex: Metro2033 runs on very high details at fullHD res pretty smooth).

Actually, I know I enjoy the song when... it vibrates inside me... I hope you understand. It's like saying to somebody "hey, we're on the same frequency!". My mind just perceives it as being cool and my mood suddenly changes... almost feeling high.

I'll probably won't carve any time soon though. A simple block carve resulted in a leak. Why? The resulted brushes were not aligned properly: a 1 unit error. Wtf.

Have to ask some source questions so I'll make a new thread.

I need to trigger random messages in my map, is there any entity that does that? I suspect "logic_case" does that, but how does it actually work? [EDIT] -nevermind, I figured out this one, it's rather simple

Also, I need to recreate the ep2 mine antlion detector signal. I tried using point_spotlight but it doesn't turn on\off. Using a simple light is a bad idea?

For hl1 it is. For source it isn't. But I think it just depends on the map layout really. I can compile my huge gmod map in about 10 minutes. I didn't make the skybox tall yet though :D.
