Can't remember where i got mine.. at the time (8th grade..maaany years ago) i thought it would be cool to have a Satanic nick hehe..

Saribous is the name of a great demon, or satan..can't remember:P
Anyway, it stuck and here i am. i have a few other nicks as well;

on steam: _VempirE_ (after my favorite record)

and Epsilon5. that was also somewhere in 8th grade. all my friends were getting new comps and we decided to form a clan (we didn't after all) and i was the fifth to get my new computer, hence Epsilon, which means Five.

read the help file in hammer to see which ones you shouldn't use.

Maybe TWHL would benefit from something like a limit on how many maps you can upload. Then you would have to choose more carefully.

the problem with that is that good mappers will suffer because of the N00b-map-spammers. :

I'm on my second playthrough now. i've noticed alot of secret areas that i just rushed past the first time. if you use the Gravity gun to build stuff to stand on top of, you'll find lots of stuff

If it is as you write Rad Brad, Then why do they post the same crap over and over again, even after being informed that it's crap?

Why not move on?
Perhaps read a few of the tutorials.

When i started with Hammer 3 years ago, i didn't release crappy maps whose sole purpose is something like kill 5 headcrabs with only one clip of ammo. i kept those to myself, knowing that no one would appreciate them. To me, they were for learning.

i just can't understand why they see the need to release EVERYTHING they make. They should think a bit before they upload: "Will people actually enjoy this or am i wasting both time and bandwidth?"

I get annoyed when N00bs upload map after map, and they are virtually identical.

ie: a room with a scientist and a crowbar, mission: kill him.
then the same talentless mapper uploads part 2 of the same crap, this time with a few more scientists.

stuff like that should banned, Period.

i'm with dajuppi. it's the best Fps i've ever played, but i sort of expected more. Can't pinpoint what i miss, but something is missing.

I have to say that i'm surprised at how well the game plays, I thought it would be like Doom3. i have about 25fps running on 640x480 in Doom:P

Miss the shaders though.. i'll have to wait 'till after christmas before i can buy a better G-card..

i have 2.4 Ghz, 512mb DDRram and geforce 4 mx 440 128 mb.
i have an average of 111 fps. i run at 800x600 with details on medium
