i know the icao code if a51. although it shouldnt have one becasue the american governement has always denied the excistance of the groom lake base. im gonn try if i can make a vor route to it in msfs :D

yup, its amzing how good they modeled the cars and the dashboard view. and mapping for it is really fun and time consuming. especialy the graphics are amzing, did you know for the shining stuff you need ot make a extra model!!
and the controls are ok, you need to knwo how to drive a car and when to break, each circuit has its own way of driving :D

im not :D

just stick around for a while and you will be a great mapper when you read much tutorials and listen to the comments on your maps. and dont release your first map, no matter how good you think it is, most people wont because there already much more experienced in mapping.

that would be it, i dont know if anyone else have to add something??

that version you plyed was the tdk, the track development kit, for mappers. just a plain old simple car wiht no physics and a crapy looking track.it isnt even close to that, way better.

any of you alreayd played this mod??
i find it great and it is a nice change of trying to blow of a snipers head with a bazooka ore a axis wiht a bar.
the driving is great, but ALWAYS use your manual gearing, you will have a quiker start and you can make corners quiker by gearing back and allowing the wheels to have more grip and in that way you can cut your opponents path.

its worth a try, and if you want to map for it feel free to drop by at the forums, im there all the time so im willing to help.

and there are alreayd some great costum maps released like rc_facility and rc_canyon and rc_leakrace,

so im simple words: worth a try. and dont give up when you loose, drive a few rounds and buy a intercooler, turbo charger ore some real rally tires ;)

BUT we can make it for hl2.
just use this hammer, and go to the maximum of possibilitys, map a map wiht so many faces ad so much small detail it wont run in hl2. and when hl2 is out we can start texturing and creating new textures. :D
and it gives me time to make some very high poly guns and models :D

i was waiting to get on the runwya for a half-our once, i was the last they let fly in, i was waiting for 15 minutes to land, cicling in patern above the mauntains. then i realized there where crosswinds and ihavent had my rudder installed :confused:

im writing a modeling tutorial for the shareware program called milkshape. version 1.7.0. at first i idnt knwo what to model, shotgun,hammer(one i made) ore something else, then i thaught. why not the good ol hl lambda car everyone knows. its easy to model and looks ok.

so i finaly modeled it today(il sned the tut to andy when done)
and on the wheels need to be done. so here is a screenshot of the car after 20 minutes of modeling, i spent most time getting the texture set up and aligning the texture.
hope you like it. ore should i make something else for the tutorial?? :D

you cna play hl in sp mode wiht it, only its buggy and modles dont show up right.

@hazaedous, yeah you would never surve, but. sneak up to a enymy and attack him wiht a hammerhead follow by a standar 45dmg, they will never know what came upon them :badass:

im taking a break for modeling weapons for a few days, i need to finish my ferrari 360 for hlrally, and im also working on a mclaren f1. obviously im willing to make these world models for in a mod(dont think they fit in this one). but the texturing is gonan be the hardest, atleast six hours a car!!
