Meh, I wouldn't say I accept homosexuality as much as blacks/Asians/whatevers since race isn't caused by environment at all whereas sexual preference could be. I wouldn't say there's any real story, last time we just did our own thing, it was a few select maps that had the "real story" in them and that wasn't forced upon the mappers, either. So, if there is a real story, which I doubt there will be, don't worry about it.

Yeah, fo sho! Too many bored l337ites working on it to quit. I know a lot of people would rather map for Source, but mapping for HL1's easier and takes less time. It's not like this is gonna have a r_speed limit of 1000 or anything.

I don't think they should all be in one slot, that's just crazy. You could have it like CS and have shottie/OICW in slot 1, pistol in 2, knife in 3, and grenades in 4, ooooor have it like HL and have knife in 1, pistol in 2, shottie/AR in 3, grenades in 5. I wouldn't say the current setup is BAD, just it's kind of messy.

Both of those are right. If it's made under standard HL, it'll run under Spirit. You don't really HAVE to use Spirit except to play the overall mappack when it's finished, because even though your map won't be necessarily using the features, other ones will be.
