Coolfat, your idea would work, but it would not target the players, and rather just spots in the map. I guess I could put many beams...

And Slayer, that would take forever!! To put trigger_hurts all over the map :P

Hey all. I had this fun idea which I don't feel like fully explaining. Anyways, I was wondering if it is possible to zap all players with the push of a button. It probably is, but I don't know how. If not zap, then just kill all. Thanks ^^

Oh wow....the simplest of things are always right! Captain I did what you said and it worked! The only reason I wrote the map name was because that's what it said to do on a website. :P Thanks a lot for all of your help every one :)

I didn't put the .wad in my -wadinclude....I wrote:

-wadinclude steamapps SafeRoom

My question about this is for the name of my map above (SafeRoom), must I include .map, .rmf, or .bsp at the end?

I also removed all of the textures except for the one I'm using, and when I compile, the error log comes out the same way, as if I am still using those textures...

Aright so I tried to compile with Zoner's Tools using -wadinclude to include steamapps.wad. Apparently, that didn't work either. I checked the log file and this is what it says (sorry it's reeeally long!):

Hey all. I started working on a map that has so far been quite successful. The layout is beautiful, and I'm having fun making it. Anyways, I compiled the map, and everything seemed fine. But when I created a game to test my map (Half-Life Counter-Strike), I kept getting an error:

Warning: couldn't open steamapps.wad

This is really bugging me because I did not delete any file in the folder, let alone a file by the name of steamapps.wad, so I don't know what is causing the error.

All help would be appreicated :) Thanks

That's not very tricky, it's actually common. The controlling on a pivot or set of wheels I'm not too sure about, but a simple camera is found very often in maps. :)
