ok i dont know why but ive tryed to put the cube map things in tied them to the walls with the 16 units away thing and ive tryed building the walls out of a solid block and moved my info_player_start to a new location and it still shows the walls as not even being there and it reloads my map from a farther back save that what its at now.

im making a map called DM_TRAIN-YARD. every thing has worked fine till now. so far i have a train with a few cars in it, along with a simple 3 story building(no doors/stairs yet) but it has windows and then i move on to making 2 other buildings right next to it and it does not want to make/show all the new stuff ive put in. new stuff is: a C.C. Path, a dumpster, and road with sidewalks. thats it but it still put me back to a point were i only have the one building the trains and the tunnel the place were the wall for the next 2 buildings is not there but when you walk to it it glitches like when you set a sky box but dont have it set in the properties. any help would be helpfull

also ill post the map in my in my profile in a bit. :

RE-Check every thing i have a prob with the normal hammer that says vid error 1443 and i just change the file and it worked.

well just to let you know i was lookign for a new Computer and form what i can tell e-bay has computers for around $950.00 or less that has everything that you need to play HL2.!!!!

Most of them are dell because if dell can't sell new from the web site they sell cheep on ebay so there still making money.

omfg is it just me or does not having a computer that can run hl2 suck!!!

i can play half life 2....only if i look at the ground and only look up to see were im going.

i just got to the first part with the roof top and the damn guys are shooting at you and my comp froze when i looked at them because i saw the blue thing called the sky and it was like ......nope im not good enought to see the damn things that are shooting at me or the sky for that matter.....

just to let you know it runs at 50 fps when i look at the floor and 3 fps when eye level....so it bites but good news is that i can move around a ROOM THAT HAS NO SKY and it runs about 24 to 35 fps but hey when i saw the damn flying things on the Roof top it went from like 26 to -10 fps......

i have a nivida geforce TNT2 something a direct X 6 i think???
a 20 gig HD, a .935 prosseser not even a gig!!!!
um and a 3.1 sound card or 2 speakers and sub.

I cant wait to go to jordans house....DRoollllll he has a server for a computer.

thats all i have to say, hosted CS:S and not its just for HL2 and omg it runs like a black guy in a hunted house!!! (i work a haunted house, no offence to the black people i love'em) so i just hope that he is going to school because i don't have work and yes a full day of hl2 is going to be sweet. :D :D :D :D :D :lol:

PS:i hate this POS computer i have right now. :x

ya i know thats why ive been here for a bit. ive started a new senareo for hl and its big....i mean big.......well lets just say this is now at 27 level changes because it was taking about 14 to 25 min to load each part....funney thing is i cant bleave that i just now need this info this far in....lol well im now at the sewers with a huge twist so i hope to have this out soon!!!!.well not reall kinda like HL2 :D ;) :P

ok there is a way to change it. its been a long time sence ive done it but it works!!! you can slow stuff down by doing that...or just do this
if your making it so that a enemy shoots at you.....and you are suposta go into bullet time....make it so that the guy walks a path and shoots at you at a givien point and spawn a little silver or copper rectangle at the end of the gun.

use function_train and have the bullets hit a point that you have placed but make it so that its at like speed 50 or less to get the bullet time effect also add colored light of some type.

it could be rotating from the center of the map thats why it looks like its moving into space.

sup toonton.....that one i have no clue but i did have a glass shatter and then shatter again and it just keep doing it.....but the door moving on its own ......thats funney...but sucks....
