I have just started mapping for source, but i have know wads or materials in my list bt i still have a few textures in the texture brouse list but not enough i dont understand??? How can i get the half life 2 wads and materials because i cannot find them under steam?????????

I have a LAN but 1 of the pc is alot slower than the rest, when it trys connecting to the host it said "unable to complete connection" i think this is due to it timeing out. is there a way to set the timeout time through console or any other way.

Rite i have a 8 pc LAN at home, and i play counter-strike over it the CD version (i think 1.5) not the steam version, and when i create my LAN sever how do i control it, e.g. boot players, change map, and toggle auto-balance things like this, is there away to do this in game like commands through the console.
