Hazardous with the way this was built there is no room for a second solution unless you break the list of facts. Like saying "The Swede lied and really owned fish ;p" or "AND the 6th neighbor kept an aquarium under his front porch.

As for making assumptions like "The guy who drinks water must have a fish!!!" Guys I drink water and own 0 fish. I also drink Milk and have no cats hehe ;)

The answer is made clear in the hints...

It wasn't that difficult if you read the list over and over again and made notes.

The answer is: The German

List is like so

Norwegian|Yellow House|Drinks Water|Owns Cats |Smokes Dunhill

Dane |Blue House |Drinks Tea |Owns Horses |Smokes Blend

Briton |Red House |Drinks Milk |Owns Birds |Smokes Pall Mall

German |Green House |Drinks Coffee|Owns Fish |Smokes Prince

Swede |White House |Drinks Beer |Owns Dogs |Smokes Bluemaster

Try this line up 5 boxes next to each other (5 houses)
Then play with colors (thats what got me started was trying to color each house (which is imho the most difficult part after that it got quite simple) If you cant figure it out. Try it from another point of view and constantly read the list of hints as you most likely missed something. But also make sure your notes are orderly and cleaned up aswell as accurate... I messed up the first time by making it up in my head that the brit drank tea ;p

Make lists like Nationality for each house too. LIke the first house is norwegian so since the dane drinks tea then obviously the first house and the norwegian do not ;p.

Though I find it impossible to believe that only 2% can figure this simple puzzle out. Unless of course there was a 5min timer
