apperantly if i don't use textures then it should look like something like this picture http://countermap.counter-strike.net/Tutorials/Guy_Montag/t2-13.jpg. also i didnt select any wads called gam.wad i only had decals liquids and 2 others.

but on all of the noob tutorials it doesn't say how to insert a texture. and after u finish making the noob map it says hit f9 and a disgusting purple room will hopefully appear or sumthing like that.

well i tried to unselect the wads in hammer and then open my rmf but it said that i had to select some wads in order to open my map or make a new one

yeah in the hammer setup it said i needed some wads for it to start (ill check in a sec) but even though i have textures in setup i didnt use any so does it really matter?

oh i new to cs mapping. i started like a week ago and i dont know how to insert a texture yet. but hopefully if this work i can be making the next de_dust soon.

i've been trying to fix it for a week but i got no where

i keep on making maps without using any textures but when ever i try to load cs opens up then closes like 10 seconds later. then i decide to try to open up cs and my map is dere in bsp format. im like wtf but i go ahead and play it but when it was starting up the server the computer decide to pis me off and closes cs and says 'a fatal error has occoured. could not fine gam.wad' or something like dat. then im like wtf i didnt even use any textures.

so anyone of u guys know wats up wit my computer?
